Inventory Management
Optimal supply item inventory control is a critical objective for any maintenance and repair organization (MRO) within a company. EBN simplifies this process by offering inventory services managed by either EBN or your internal organization.
EBN MANAGED INVENTORY
Vendor-managed inventory (VMI) means that EBN is responsible for maintaining an agreed inventory of parts at your location, reducing unnecessary inventory and minimizing the risk that you find yourself out of supply stock. Furthermore, when EBN representatives visit your site to monitor, organize, and re-stock inventory, they help answer questions your staff has about the product.
BENEFITS OF EBN INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Improved inventory turns
- Reduced purchase orders, paperwork and stock outages
- Cost advantages of single sourcing
- Barcoded for accuracy and efficient receiving
- Obsolescence guarantee
- Delivery to point of use
- Safe and clean walkways

SUPPLY CRIB INVENTORY BINS
EBN works with you to understand what parts and inventory levels you want to maintain at all times. Representatives from the EBN store closest to you then sets up storage bins in your storage area or designated place, and continuously replenishes those bins with the agreed upon inventory levels per part.
VMI bins significantly reduce purchase orders, receiving costs, touches per item, and cleaning and maintenance overhead.
Ideal for: a traditional, controlled supply crib that require check-outs and check-ins (e.g., drills, hammers), store large or expensive parts, or in facilities without space for closer storage areas.

INDUSTRIAL VENDING MACHINES
EBN sets up secure vending machines at your location where employees can self-serve the supplies they need, 24/7. EBN continuously monitors and re-stocks the parts you need when you need it.
Vending machines record and report each transaction, which means reduced dependence on dedicated supply crib staff and increased accuracy and peace of mind.
Ideal for: Streamlining purchasing, reducing consumption and waste, 24/7 access without additional staff & detailed reporting of item usage. Ideal products include safety supplies, cutting tools, batteries, abrasives, power tools, and more.

POINT OF USE INVENTORY BINS
EBN partners with you on-site to map your workstations and operational processes to determine ideal points of use for each type of part you use. Your regional EBN store then monitors and replenishes inventory of each part directly where it is used by your staff.
Maintaining bins at the point of use means less time and hands between your staff and getting the part they need to keep going.
Ideal for: parts specific to the operational process of certain workstations or parts that are continuously used in the operational process (e.g., valve stems for wheel mounting).

PROJECT JOBSITE INVENTORY STORAGE
EBN sets up inventory within an on-site trailer or workbox, and continuously replenishes inventory needed for you to complete your construction or other project. We come to you.
Single-sourcing VMI parts during a job-site project results in less people in your way, less downtime due to outages, and less administrative overhead.
Ideal for: projects or other situations in which supplies are used outdoors, such as during disaster recovery.
CUSTOMER MANAGED INVENTORY
Vendor-managed inventory (VMI) means that EBN is responsible for maintaining an agreed inventory of parts are your location, reducing unnecessary inventory and minimizing the risk that you find yourself out of supply stock. Furthermore, when EBN representatives visit your site to monitor, organize, and re-stock inventory, they help answer questions your staff has about the product.

AUTO-SCHEDULED DOCK DELIVERIES
EBN works with you to understand what parts you need and how often, based on your average usage. Then, based on an agreed upon schedule, EBN delivers a regular cadence of parts and supplies to your facility's receiving dock.
Repeat dock deliveries help you manage your inventory while still reducing the administrative overhead of repetitive purchase orders and approvals.
Best for: organizations with unions or restricted access.

ON-DEMAND DELIVERIES OR SHIPMENTS
EBN is available for your order on-call during regular business hours or 24/7 using fax or email, and ships next day if requested. Exceptions apply for non-stock items. After-hours, critical failure, and emergency orders or deliveries are also available at any time (24/7/365) for an after-hours rate. To schedule an emergency delivery, please call 1.800.854.0077.
Your regional EBN store can deliver the products (within 60 mile radius), or a 3rd party logistics provider can be used if necessary.
Best for: organizations outside of the delivery radius for EBN-managed inventory (VMI) or not yet ready to take advantage of the benefits of VMI services or single-sourcing with EBN.

WILL-CALL COUNTER ORDERS
Our will-call counters are also available for orders placed at the counter or over the telephone. Orders can be picked up at any of our will-call counters. We make every effort to ensure that your order is ready when you come to pick it up. EBN accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express charge cards on telephone and will-call counter orders.
Best for: independent contractors or organizations with a one-time need for industrial supplies.
