EBN Incorporated is a wholesale and retail distributor of construction and industrial supplies with its headquarters in Evansville, IN and 7 sites throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. Our customers depend on the superior service and expert advice of our experienced team.

OUR HISTORY
Evansville Bolt & Nut Inc. was started in August of 1989 in Evansville, Indiana. Ron Brown, the original owner, started the company by specializing in the distribution of fasteners. With a growing clientele, it was obvious that expansion was needed. Evansville Bolt & Nut Inc. then decided to open another branch. In 1994 the Henderson, Kentucky branch opened.
Evansville Bolt & Nut continued to grow as we opened four more branches. In 1996, our Mt. Vernon, Illinois branch opened, and later that year the fourth branch in Jasper, Indiana opened. Evansville Bolt & Nut then acquired Bolk Industrial Supply in Vincennes, Indiana in 1998, making the fifth branch. In 1998, Evansville Bolt & Nut officially became EBN Industrial Supply, a name change reflecting the transformation our organization was undergoing.

Not only was the company growing in size, but it was growing with new products. Now offering power tools, hand tools, safety PPE supplies, and other various construction and industrial supplies, EBN was becoming well known in these product lines outside of fasteners. Just two years later in 2000, the sixth branch in Owensboro, Kentucky was opened.
In 2002 long-time employees, Jeff Harding, Don Long, and Eric Postletheweight purchased EBN. Since then we have continued to focus on developing a friendly, knowledgeable staff that concentrates on customer service. The EBN team believes that great customer service is key in developing a successful business. In 2010 EBN opened the seventh location in Terre Haute, IN and in 2017 acquired Stippler Tool a specialty cutting tool and abrasive company that had been in business since 1945. We have expanded those product lines to all 7 locations and maintained Cutting tool specialist to support our customers. In 2018 we added a safety/PPE specialist to service our growing needs with PPE supplies.
In 2021 EBN was acquired by Bostwick Braun an Industrial Supply company with over 160 years experience with locations in Northern Indiana and Ohio. While our people and goals have remained the same we have more than quadrupled in size with more locations, buying power, product lines and resources to offer our customers and employees. We look forward to supporting our customers for another 160 years as EBN/Bostwick Industrial Supply.
